As we all deal with new information daily, the team here at WA Assett are adapting well and want to assure our clients that we will continue to stay operational and renovate bathrooms for the foreseeable future.
With over 25 years’ experience in renovating bathrooms, we have been through some very interesting times. With the present pandemic at the forefront of our minds, our focus is to continue to provide quality renovations for our clients, while maintaining projects and employment for our very experienced team.
We want to keep you up to date with some changes we are making at WA Assett. We want to continue to offer the same great service however we have implemented the following measures:
COVID-19 Education
Our team members have all completed the Australian Department of Health Infection Control COVID-19 training.
Your Consultation
For the time being our consultants will still be available to visit your home or workplace to measure your renovation space. This will be done with minimal personal and surface contact. Our team carry their own hand sanitiser and also practice best hand washing as advised by the Health Department for COVID-19.
Once the measuring part of the process is complete the consultation can continue either over the phone, via facetime or Web Ex or in an open area of your home to ensure social distancing is maintained.
If you would still like to have a consultation but the initial site visit is not an option, we are offering this online. There is an online form that will require some basic information to be completed and then one of our senior team members will contact you to discuss your renovation further. Following this they will be able to provide you with an estimate.
Your Selections
For the time-being, we will continue to conduct our selections meetings as normal and we will keep up to date with current social distancing rules. All surfaces are sanitised between selections meetings. Both our Selections centres are visited by appointment only and are limited to one meeting per time slot. We also request that you use the supplied hand sanitiser before, during and after your visit.
Our team will practise social distancing from you during your selections meeting. We also ask that for now that all deposit and progress payments are made by electronic bank transfer or by use of a contactless card. No cash and/or cheques can be accepted at this time.
We will implement proactive measures within our selection areas to limit the risks and urge you all to remain vigilant, self-aware and always cautious. If the situation arises where we cannot continue face to face selections meetings, we will then either postpone the meeting to a future date or continue the meeting via the use of online technology.
Your Renovation
For our team in Production it is definitely business as usual! With most of our team working solo on projects at any given point we are very confident that we can maintain a safe environment for our clients as well as our team. The team have been instructed to undertake regular cleaning throughout the renovation and will minimise contact with surfaces outside the renovation area.
We have multiple team members for each trade and this ensures there will be no delays during your renovation. Please note, this is a fast-moving situation and start dates can obviously be affected however to date we haven’t had to move the start dates of any projects.
What can you do?
Continue to use the very talented team of experts to make your renovation a reality. Rest assured we are working very hard to create and maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for our clients, as well as one another. We are monitoring the latest advice from the Government and will continue to make changes as required. We look forward to hearing from you soon
